Care to make an update since it's come out that all the source material of Yasuke was made up by a white guy to sell his book? Also how about actually speaking about one of the biggest issues, Asian MALE erasure. Stop pointing to the Asian Female playable option. We've gotten that many times, we've gotten in that in other AC games. Not once have we've gotten an Asian Male character to play as in AC.

This is an absolute gem of an ultra hip game! I played JSRF on the Xbox a decade ago and was totally engulfed by its coolness and was pleasantly surprised by how similar to JSRF... until the 3rd installation of Sega's JSR franchise come along.. but regardless this would still be considered a masterpiece! There have been previous games with black main characters that nobody cared about, what you saying? But now that we have a setting within Asian culture instead of Japanese representation we have an obscure Black Guy of questionable historical context? Say if you can have some obscure white guy from history who participated in African Culture, you would not be happy if you was made to play that character in a game based in Africa. It's perfectly fine to acknowledge a historical person but then making historically inaccurate statements about him and the option that he can romance men despite no historical context of his orientation is disrespectful to the culture and the actual person... not to mention the assumption that he was a slave with no context... they're assuming BASED ON HIS RACE that he must have been a slave... lmao

The bigger Issue here us that Yakuse is depicted as an African American and not from Portugal and a bodyguard of Jesuit Alessandro. And he really wasn't a Samurai the term was a Page. But Japaese historians have viewed him as the first forgeign Samurai.
